On June 13th, coinciding with the "Cultural and Natural Heritage Day," the grand opening of the "Radiant Silk Radiance – Jinsanta Centennial Splendor Exhibition" was held at the Jiaxing Silk Museum.
The ceremony was attended by distinguished guests, including Zhou Liankun, Deputy Mayor of Jiaxing Municipal People's Government; Ji Xiaofen, Director of the China National Silk Museum; officials from municipal and district departments, cultural and heritage institutions, and industry associations; Zhou Guojian, Chairman of Jiaxin Silk Group; and all members of the Group's executive leadership. Also present were inheritors of silk knitting intangible cultural heritage, retired employees of Jinsanta, and other honored guests.
Lu Zhifen, President of the Xiuzhou District Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection and Development Association, and Xu Hong, Party Secretary and President of Jiaxin Silk Group, delivered speeches to mark this significant milestone for the Jinsanta brand's centennial legacy.
Donation and Certification Ceremony: A Century of Memory, Inheriting the Silk Industry's Cultural Heritage
At 9:30 a.m., the event commenced with a Donation and Certification Ceremony. Liu Zhuoming, Executive Vice President of the Group, presented certificates to the senior pioneers who donated a collection of precious historical archives, vintage production tools, and craftsmanship manuscripts.
These physical materials, carrying the collective memory and dedication of generations of silk artisans, vividly trace the centennial development of the "Jinsanta" brand and unlock the enduring craftsmanship heritage of Jiangnan silk for the public.
Brand Sharing: A Century of Heritage – The Story of Jinsanta
At the event, Yu Xiaohong, General Manager of Jinsanta Apparel, walked the audience through the brand's century-long journey. From its humble beginnings at the Fuxing Silk Factory on Shanshanzha in Jiaxing, to the official registration of the "Jinsanta" trademark in 1979, the brand has undergone decades of refinement and development, gradually establishing a complete knitted silk production line.
In 2010, its parent company, Jiaxin Silk Group, was successfully listed on the stock market. Since then, the brand has continued to receive recognition and accolades – named a "Zhejiang Time-honored Brand" in 2011, and honored as a "China Time-honored Brand" in 2024.
Over the past century, Jinsanta has remained true to its silk heritage and upheld the spirit of craftsmanship, writing its own remarkable story of growth and transformation as a local silk brand.
Leadership Address: Empowering Cultural Heritage – Shining a Light on the City's Identity
Lu Zhifen, President of the Xiuzhou District Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection and Development Association, attended the event and delivered a speech. She noted that silk is a core symbol of Jiangnan's cultural heritage, and Jinsanta's silk knitting craftsmanship represents an important component of Xiuzhou District's intangible cultural heritage.
She emphasized that this exhibition deeply integrates the brand's development history, industrial transformation, and the city's collective memory – effectively uncovering and revitalizing a century's worth of silk heritage resources. It serves as a key initiative in implementing cultural heritage protection policies, cultivating silk culture, and building Jiangnan into a highland of silk cultural excellence.
She expressed her hope that the exhibition would serve as a catalyst to further deepen the integrated model of "heritage + industry + culture & tourism + research," ensuring that the thousand-year silk heritage is passed down and revitalized for a new era.
Xu Hong, Party Secretary and President of Jiaxin Silk Group, delivered a speech. He emphasized that over the course of a century, Jinsanta has remained steadfast in its original aspiration: "Crafting quality silk with heart, and passing on Chinese heritage through fashion." By deeply integrating Jiangnan culture with modern Chinese aesthetics, and through cross-cultural innovation and craftsmanship breakthroughs, the brand has made traditional silk relevant to modern life and in step with fashion trends – continuously spreading the beauty of Chinese silk culture.
Xu Hong also extended sincere gratitude to the municipal and district government departments and related organizations that have long supported the brand's development; to the veteran craftspeople who devoted themselves to the industry's foundation; and to all the employees who have strived tirelessly to carry the legacy forward.
He remarked: "A century has passed – but a new journey has already begun." Standing at a new starting point, Jinsanta must continue to tell the story of Chinese silk products, support the high-quality development of Jiaxing's silk cultural tourism industry, and keep the centennial time-honored brand shining ever brighter.

At 10:15 a.m., the unveiling ceremony brought the event to its climax. Mr. Zhou Guojian, Chairman of the Group, and Ms. Ji Xiaofen, Director of the China National Silk Museum, jointly lifted the red silk veil, officially opening the Jinsanta Centennial Splendor Exhibition to the public.
At that moment, the profound heritage of the century-old brand and its contemporary elegance shone brilliantly together, marking the beginning of a new chapter in Jinsanta's journey – one that honors tradition while embracing innovation for the next hundred years.

VI. Design Highlights: Four Colors Weaving Elegance – The Essence of Jiangnan Silk
The exhibition features a thoughtfully crafted visual design, centered around four signature colors: Field Green, Heritage Cyan, Jinsanta Gold, and Silk White. These hues respectively symbolize the roots of mulberry cultivation, the continuity of craftsmanship, the cultural landmark of the Three Pagodas, and the brand's pure original aspiration.
Drawing inspiration from Jiaxing's rich sericulture heritage, the iconic Three Pagodas landmark, and the century-old silk craftsmanship legacy, the exhibition creates a fully immersive Jiangnan silk cultural space that is both aesthetically refined and deeply meaningful.
A single strand of silk weaves together a century of memories; a legacy of craftsmanship carries forward the elegance of Jiangnan.
Over the hundred-year journey from 1926 to 2026, Jinsanta has used silk as its medium, carrying the intertwined narratives of brand growth, urban development, and intangible cultural heritage. Standing at this new centennial starting point, the brand will remain rooted in its cultural heritage, deepen its focus on the silk sector, uphold innovation while honoring tradition, revitalize intangible cultural resources, and continue to drive the creative development of Guochao (Chinese trendsetting) silk culture.

A century of treasures, an everlasting silk legacy. Following the conclusion of the exhibition, the historical archives and artifacts from the Jinsanta Centennial Exhibition will be permanently preserved in the collection of the China National Silk Museum.
